The Process

   RETREATS, WORKSHOPS, AND PRIVATE JOURNEYS facilitated by Helen are ways to enter the Creative Spiral. This is an evolutionary path in which consciousness of ourselves as integral with the creative ebb and flow of the Universal Creative Essence is reborn, healed and transformed. < see schedule >
    Engaging in Art-Making as the Sacred Practice as it was for so many of our ancestors we:
    1. Listen within to intuitive promptings from our soul, the authentic and eternal aspect at the center of our being.
    2. Remember our oneness with the Creative Life Force, however we envision it.
    3. Allow this Presence to guide and be expressed through us in images and visions uniquely ours to gift the planet.
The playful, yet profound process of Touch Drawing* provides and ideal place to begin our reconnection. Rolling a thin layer of paint onto a board and placing a piece of tissue paper over it, we begin to draw..our only tools our fingers and hands. Afterwards we peel  off the paper and contemplate the marks and images that our soul has guided us to create as a witness to our authentic sleves. There are no prerequisites only a willingness to open to the magic!
    As we are guided onward by our process, other media or formats may be added for g greater color and movement in our expression. Our awareness of ourselves, our physical bodies, our feelings, and the spiritual aspects present for us deepens as we continue, enabling us to be present with all that is within us and within the nurturing presence of our Earth Mother and our fellow beings which surround us.
   These retreats,workshops and private journeys are offered at Creative Spiral Studio in North Yarmouth, Maine surrounded by quiet woodlands, gardens, and labyrinth Helen also offers these at other locations in the Northeast.
